Is my seat reserved when I book a ticket?
Yes, if you purchase online or at official InfoPoints (Porta Nolana, Garibaldi, Montesanto). If you buy at Circumvesuviana ticket offices (Herculaneum, Pompei Villa Misteri, Vico Equense, Sorrento, Naples Porta Nolana, Naples Piazza Garibaldi) up to 20 minutes before departure, then you will not have a reserved seat. Children under 6: no seat reservation.
Where to board the train in Naples Garibaldi station?
If you prefer fewer crowds, consider boarding at Napoli Porta Nolana. If boarding at Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, go to the lower level of the station and follow the “Linee Vesuviane” signs — you’ll find “Campania Express” clearly marked nearby.
How many seats are available to be reserved on trains?
Each train has up to 180 reserved seats available.
